above us in safety, faith, peace, and Isla>

agreement with all that You love and pleases You,
O our Lord. Our Lord and your Lord is Alla>h.’
68. Upon breaking fast

‘The thirst has gone and the veins are moistened,
and reward is confirmed, if Alla>h wills.’

‘Abdulla>h Ibn ‘Amr Ibn al-’Aws
related that the
Messenger of Alla>h
said: ‘Indeed the fasting
person has at the time of breaking fast, a
supplication which is not rejected’. Ibn Abu>
Mulaykah
said: ‘I Heard ‘Abdulla>h Ibn
‘Umar say when he broke his fast:
